EZYLAKE

Ezylake is a water park in Normandie, France. The resort includes three lakes on which clients can practice water sports, such as water skiing and wakeboarding. Ezylake is a water park with a big personality. It’s fun, playful, and energetic.

The brand's color palette is inspired by the landscape at Ezylake. It's a combination of multiple blues and the famous lime green color called Chartreuse. This color palette boosts the identity's dynamism.

The brand's identity is solely based on the rudder, an indispensable element in water sports. It's the equipment practitioners hold while skiing or wakeboarding, connecting them to the boat and pulling them forward. 

After simplifying the rudder, I integrated it into the type to create alternate glyphs (such as the E, the O, and the Q), adding playfulness to the typography. The rudder is also at the core of the brand's emblem, which complements the logotype but can also be used separately.

Water sports are dynamic and full of movement. It was, therefore, important to animate Ezylake's logo in order to properly communicate the kineticism of the sports.

The concept behind this brand is to create a branding system that translates the dynamism of water sports. The brand is embedded in its environment and complements the serenity of the landscape
